Alyson and Craig were married in the fall, with a ceremony and reception at the 1 Hotel.
This was a destination wedding for Alyson and Craig and they couldn’t have chosen a better venue. What better place to party with your friends and family than someplace with strong ocean breezes and warm South Florida sunshine? It’s hard to beat a Miami Beach wedding!
Craig and Alyson’s wedding can best be described with all of the personal touches woven throughout the classically-styled day. Alyson wore a necklace that belonged to her grandmother and carried flowers designed by her father. Her elegant sheath dress went perfectly with her Jimmy Choo wedges, and the natural wood chuppah was a beautiful complement to the natural wood décor of the hotel. Everything fit together so well and was so well-planned that, as a wedding photographer, I really couldn’t ask for anything better.
After an emotional first look, we took advantage of the beautiful afternoon light for some bridal party portraits before the sunset ceremony. Alyson walked down the aisle to a beautiful violinist playing as the sky lit up with the colors of the setting sun. Unable to contain his joy, Craig even stole a first kiss when Alyson got to the end of the aisle! He just couldn’t wait until after the vows. A close friend married the two of them at last, and they had a joyful “second first” kiss as husband and wife.
They chose a favorite signature cocktail, Rosy Cheeks, to share with their guests as the party began. Again, it was these personal touches that made this wedding such a memorable one.
Alyson & Craig, thank you for the chance to be part of your truly amazing wedding. You two share such a beautiful, pure love that will last forever!
