Davita and Tate were married in Miami on a beautiful late spring day, with a ceremony in the Granada Ballroom and a reception at the Country Club Ballroom of the Biltmore in Coral Gables.
Tate and Davita first met in an airport on their way to the medical school they were both attending in the Caribbean. Sure, that may sound like the start of a romantic comedy, but the truth is, it turned into a beautiful relationship. Now, they are ready to begin the rest of their lives together, and they obviously couldn’t be more excited.
I was thrilled when the two of them asked me to be their wedding photographer. I completely fell in love with their classic style and the genuine, wonderful connection they share. It’s so easy to photograph couples like this, because you just can’t fake the way they look at each other.
Of course, the surroundings were just as stunning as the couple themselves. The florals and the wedding chuppah was designed by Petal Productions. The rich fuchsia and plum blooms mixed with warm golden tones created an opulent look. It was the perfect blend of décor to match the look of the elegant Granada Ballroom at the Biltmore. The reception was held in the Country Club Ballroom, where again the florals were exquisite. Davita and Tate shared their first dance as man and wife on a beautiful, monogrammed dance floor. There was so much joy as family and friends came together to celebrate their union.
Tate & Davita, thank you for asking me to be your wedding photographer. I loved being part of your love story and know that you two will be wonderful together for the rest of your lives. Thanks also to Petal Productions for their amazing décor. I love being able to photograph something so well-done when it comes to the details of the day!
